How we make money
Finmart is free for you. Here is exactly how we earn our income and what that means for the offers you see.
Commissions from partners
When you click on an offer and apply with a credit provider or a loan matching service, we may receive a commission from that partner. You pay nothing for this: the loan conditions are the same as if you applied directly with the lender.
Two kinds of offers
- Offers with a link to the lender take you to the lender’s own website, where you apply and sign.
- Offers with our application form take you to a short Finmart form. With your consent, we share your application with registered partners that may be able to offer you a loan, as described in our privacy policy.
What commissions influence — and what they do not
| May be influenced | Never influenced |
|---|---|
| Which offers are shown on a page | The rating from our editorial team |
| The default order of offers | The figures we publish for an offer |
| Highlighted or featured placements | Our guides, reviews and answers to your questions |
You can always change the order of offers yourself, for example by interest rate.
We are not a lender
Finmart does not grant loans, does not make lending decisions and does not collect repayments. Every loan agreement is concluded directly between you and the credit provider, which must be registered with the National Credit Regulator. Read how we rate offers in our evaluation methodology.
